This woodland back to back accordion artist book features a poem by one of my heros, Hildegard of Bingen and one of my relief prints. Hildegard lived from 1098-1179 and was a gifted writer, naturalist, philosopher and scientist who worked as a German Abbess. Her poem is one of hope and speaks of the divine in us all. The two plate relief print that I used on the covers of this book is entitled Conversation with the Birds and shows a figure talking to a crow.
